When prioritizing what would make Services Plus special, our founder looked at the missing pieces from the traditional residential painting or carpentry experience. Uga went to work right away.

While much has changed about Services Plus in the last 19 years, our commitment to our customers has always come first. Uga’s commitment to each customer, product, and project has been magnified by continued education and innovation. The former resulted in Uga returning to school and receiving his general contractor’s licenses in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The latter resulted in numerous high-level partnerships with producers and suppliers at the top of our industry. Each of these allow us to deliver far more value to our customers.

Services Plus brings you a local family-owned and operated business feel. From painting the houses of MetroWest in 2002, to the opening of our second office in 2019, the quality of our services never waver, they have only improved and expanded.


The Difference

During the early years of Services Plus, Uga was still working his other job too, as a professional martial artist. Often in interviews and during events he speaks to how these years have impacted our 19 years of growth. The immense discipline and detail orientation from his martial arts experience are inseparable from the standard he formed and carried out through Services Plus.

We are frequently asked what makes Services Plus different from our competitors. In a recent Boston Design Week event put on by our industry partner Sherwin-Williams, Uga’s response to this question was to the point: “What doesn’t make us different?”

Above all, the hands-on training and resources that we are able to provide each member of our staff and crew puts us at the top of our industry. As our in-house general contractor, Uga provides weekly training sessions for our crews. No matter how long each crew has been working with Services Plus, our CEO provides first-hand updates, tutorials, and pointers about the latest innovations across our industry.

When a new crew member joins our ranks, no matter what experience they bring to the table, Uga is the one to personally show them the procedure and standard for each of our services. Techniques and procedures are essential to maintaining the consistency of our high-quality results. Watching these training sessions, it is evident that the Services Plus standard is designed to get the job done right.

Hands-on & Precise

Recently, Uga devised and executed a week-long, on-the-site program of training exercises for several new crew members. Amongst this new class of hires was a diverse range of experience. One of our newest crew members brings with him decades of carpentry experience. With his proficiency, Uga worked next to him reframing the trim for each window on a two-story colonial. They conferred and discussed each step to ensure that expectations and our guaranteed quality results remained consistent. Services Plus carries this brand of excellence onto every job site.

Having this hands-on training time, Uga could inspect each aspect of the project. No detail is too small for Services Plus, and no detail goes unnoticed. Uga managed the entire training project and kept a close eye on the progress to ensure that each new crew member, each update and each stage of the project exceeded every expectation.
